Been there. Keep your head up, you'll find something you like better. Good luck!
But I suppose the most important thing is to figure out what you want to do. Then leverage your current situation for experience in the area.
Be there and it sucks. Just start applying. Civil litigation is not bad if you are not micromanaged.
Same. Feeling so down about it.
Same
I had a classmate who left a job teaching high school so that he could become a lawyer. He was successful enough as a litigator that he was able to retire from being a lawyer so that he could leave the practice to become a high school teacher.
FWIW, someone my kid knows from scouts attended that school, and the kid's mom told me that the ex-lawyer was the favorite teacher of most of the students.
I feel like the only way to get out of this miserable situation is to be financial independent.
I feel so bad that if I had 1million USD in cash. I would quit. But I don’t have that money…
Can I apply for that position? 😅🥲
