Do it yourself. If you subscribe to Adobe CS, then you already have access to Adobe Portfolio. It’s great. Lots of templates that are customizable. You can also purchase/link a custom URL.
Mentor
Sample both Framer and Webflow. Framer will be more user friendly for designers, but if you’re comfortable with the learning curve, Webflow will be much better for customizations.
Both also have free templates to start from.
Get Claude code. GitHub. And a cheap hosting.
Find portfolio style you like, get Claude to clone that website. Get Claude read your resume (which you can have Chat help you rewrite it), and write full site content from your resume. Create project folder, put all assets in there. Ask Claude to rebuild your portfolio website from the clone template, using your assets, create index and each work as its own page. Match content from resume with each project. Build with react and responsive. Need to have mobile view but focus on desktop to pass WCAG and Nielsen 10.
Create PR and push to Git as your repository. Then deploy to your hosting.
Now you have your site live and version control. Can update and roll back at anytime.
Squarespace, it’s so easy and has great templates
I can help you
I use Adobe CC. The portfolio URL is [yourname].myportfolio.com and there are great very easy to use templates. You can have as many pages or sections as you like and its well regarded as a professional portfolio with hosting, however you do need to subscribe to Adobe CC to keep it live.
Alternatively, Ive also used Squarespace so in effect the portfolio is a fully functioning website and the sites are gorgeous, but again, you need to subscribe to keep it live.
If you want to go about it yourself, I can guide and help, I recently made my own using Framer and the process is ongoing.
Been through this myself recently. I hire=d someone on LI, and it was the chapest rate offered at $750. LSS, I left him as hI could not figure out how to update it. Then L&B, Google has a Sites tool. Boom. my domain is registered w/SP, which Google owns. Viola. Sites is supper easy to figure out and deploy. Best of luck!
I use Webflow but it’s pretty intricate, for people who are familiar with Adobe Muse, Figma, etc.. They have templates too though. I just wanted a site builder with more style and potential for originality than Squarespace.
