How come you agreed to join SBI early even before the notice period is not ended, also did you not think about this before starting notice period that how are you going to negotiate notice period deduction, discuss with manager or bu hr
Send your manager a legal notice of harassment. Any lawyer can draft it for you. Uski phat legi. Most of these folks just threaten. Somebody did this to me 7 years ago and I have lawyers in my family. Sent him a legal notice of harassment along with a copy to company hr. That guy started crying. Have a legal backing and screw these kind of toxic people in the system

if u dont need exp letter then u can abscond..but u cant deny NP as per the policy
I don't want to abscond as I have a valid and genuine reason for mental health issues.
He is saying they'll give me a termination letter instead of an Experience letter and I may have to pay some amount in lieu of notice period.. 😅

Notice period, as I mentioned.
He wants me to serve atleast 1-2 months notice, which I've denied. SBI wants me to join by 15th Jul.
Though I don't give a crap to Wipro since I can also sue Wipro for cheating and to my Manager on pressurising me in such a mental health situation, still would like to know how to end this on a good note.
I'll be relocating from Bengaluru to Mumbai for SBI.

Pls don't join SBI as a contractor. The project will mostly be in Navi Mumbai where you'll be treated as a labourer and then made to work 14 to 15 hours.
I know someone who went there and came out with diabetes and hypertension after 6 months.
Ohh, but My cousin worked for 6 years there as a Contractor from TCS and he is fine..
Before accepting the offer, I did my due diligence.. 😊
He has kept a call on Monday with HR to discuss further. Let's see what happens.

@C1, LTI1 & CPG1 - Please understand that I'm not happy with the job and its breach of trust on part of Wipro, not providing the same profile which was promised during the interview stage. Mental issues arised bcoz of this cheating and lackluster job profile.
Notice period gaya bhaad mein, bahut hi zyada chindigiri hai inke kaam mein.. I admired Wipro a lot before joining but now I won't recommend anyone for this deputation or outsourcing roles.. No mai baap, no ownership.. just client using the skill to fulfill their requirements. Definitely not for ambitious people like me..
Aise mein bhi first 3 months mein resign kar raha hun, unki halat kharab isiliye hai kyunki client unhe sunayga.. maine client & wipro ko indirectly 1st week mein hi bol diya tha ki this is NOT going to work out bcoz of mismatch in actual work and promised work. Fir bhi maine 2-3 mahine kaam kiya based on their request.
So, I am very clear and transparent from my end that this is IT!

For 2.5 months the np should not be more than 1 month. And if you have health issues, prove that with medical certificate and send proper mail. And yes Wipro is authorized to deduct money based on your np served. If things go beyond these serve legal notice.

I'm having 7.5 Y exp with 19 LPA at Wipro Bengaluru. SBI is offering 25 LPA in Navi Mumbai. I had asked Wipro for 25L before joining but they didn't provide me due to budget constraints.. 😕
If I lose this opportunity, I'm not sure whether I'll get anything even close after few years.. as my profile is into Project Management, without any coding background.

Read your terms of employment. It will have everything. If its good for you, scan and send a copy to your manager and HR associate. And ask for release.

If you are on probation period or on bench it would be easy to buyout np or deduct or negotiate notice period
