I think the young athletes who have taken a yr or more off for mental health. They are an example of taking care of your physical body by taking care of our mental piece. I’m so proud of young people in so many ways. They have a voice and they’re using it! 💪🏼

I was simply expressing surprise at this subject being considered news, as it has been reported on so heavily, and for years now. I did read the article, thanks for confirming. There isn’t anything newsworthy about the content; it’s all recycled information- hence, the sentiment I shared.
And, umm… one able to discern obvious things, like the fact that indiscriminate social commentary is literally entirely irrelevant to professional capacity. I think it is more worrisome that you seem to have your job confused with the Fishbowl app.

Other countries prioritize work-life balance and give a whole lot more days for sick and vacation leave. Plus, the lunch hour can be up to 3 hours. Other countries have employee retention due to their stance on employee health whereas America sees a huge turn over. We have come a long way since the 60's in recognizing mental health as viable but we still have a long ways to go.
