I've 5 years of experience into Java Spring boot. I got an offer from Paytm of 32 LPA and 450 units of ESOPs I also have an offer from JPMorgan Chase of 24 Lakhs of fixed pay and 15% ( 3 Lakhs approx. ) of bonus. Another offer from Zee entertainment enterprise ltd Zeel of 30 LPA. Please help me choose either of these. I'm a little sceptical about Paytm as it is still burning cash. But optimistic as it uses the latest tech. #paytm #jpmc #jpmorgan #chase #choice

Do Not Join Paytm at any cost.. It is not worth the trauma, oncall pressure, work life balance issue, no/ 2-4% hikes, random forceful layoffs<
(not based on performance, rather stack ranking and business use or movement), no promotion hikes (that too dry promotion), Team mate will not help here recently because to keep themselves safe (you can also be employed to make you scape goat for new layoffs etc)
All good people are leaving or left meanwhile. see LinkedIn posts for proof..
Even if you get 100+% CTC bump on joining, don't..
There are many good companies out there, don't spoil your mental and physical health..
Many of the employees have caught health issues and lost jobs
This place had good work before, now it's small changes in existing code, cost optimization, code refactoring, unit test case writing types of work every where every team
Plus mainly, here you will be the person looking after existing system as Primarily oncall and resolving customer issues found in your system, attending multiple meets on sam and secondarily as a developer to make hardly 10-15 lines changes in service as flows are already existing.. it's just a small addon..
Remember: there are also HRs here who want people to join..they will go to any extent to make up your mind.. please connect with,7-8 people on LinkedIn and then make decisions..that's the best thing to do..

Whoever here defending Paytm and saying that they fired underperforming guys should look at their track records, many of them were founding engineers who got laid off, VP's , director of engineering working past 10 years for Paytm since beginning, do you really think that the people who laid down the foundation of many verticals like soundbox, cashback offers were underperforming, remember I have seen them getting a 5 star rating too
And for people defending Paytm you were not even there in the starting days of it so I don't think you qualify to defend it (most of them are HR's posing as associate consultants),
join Paytm at your own risk Period !!
You won't get any job security, because trust me if any of their business goes downhill again you will be the first one on their hit list

Offer won't be revoked. You will always find people cribbing about culture and firing.
That was mainly in teams who were overstaffed and below average performers were fired.
Starting July company is in really good shape and you should join. You'll definitely thank me when you realise this in 3 months.
Yes they can revoke offer letter, One of my known who got letter and before joining one day they revoked. So you can take risk as per your backup.
