I have been selected into ZS for the BTAC role under CCM(Customer-Centric Marketing). My YOE is 3.8 in Cognizant, and the domain is ETL, DW, cloud(AWS).

My question is, ZS is giving a great package compared to what I have in Cognizant (Above 100% hike), and Cognizant is ready to retain me by giving somewhere 50%-60% hike. Will ZS be a good choice for me to switch? In terms of growth, technologies, work, pay. Or should I accept what cognizant is giving and get retained?

What kind of questions should I be asking in an interview for an ACD position? Or I guess what is generally expected from an ACD?

My agency is opening up applications for a DE&I Committee leader for the first time. This person will be responsible for overhauling how the agency approaches diversity, including employee training, internships, new business model and client communications. However, the role is a voluntary one-year term with no extra pay or incentive. There is no budget for this person to be trained themselves. How are your companies handling new diversity leadership? How should I voice my concern?

The hiring manager called to congratulate and said should be getting the offer in the email without disclosing any details. How to negotiate in this case?

I went to a non target school for OW and have had lots of recent grads that I don’t know reach out for referrals. Is it wrong that I don’t want to refer strangers or spend the time getting to know them? I got the job without a referral and am still new so I don’t want to risk my reputation right now. So I am going to new tech place with 185k and 8% 401k matching. Injave 12 yoe but lack adjacent skillset like cloud, cicd stuff that pretty much every software role wants. microsoft and Amazon are still companies i want to get into in Virginia. Should I brush up technical interview methodology while at new place and then apply constantly or try to learn from new job and see where it goes? It is federal job so the salary will cap off soon and commercial has higher ceiling.. thanks.

I’ve been at my current job for about 4 months and am not enjoying it. Thinking of cutting my losses and looking for a new role since the market is so hot right now. I am currently interviewing for a specialist role and will have 1 technical and 3 case interviews as my 1st round after passing the coding test. I quite enjoy prepping for case interviews but 3 cases seem like a big portion for a tech role so I am curious if case interviews equally important regardless of positions?

Thought I'd share this for inspiration. I was eating right and working out for the past few weeks and my weight on the scale was not budging which in turn was demotivating me. Yesterday was my first rest day and cheat day. I also slept a full 8 hrs. This morning I stepped on the scale and voila! Down 6 lbs. This has motivated me to keep pushing. Another 15 lbs to my target. lesson learned - Trust the process!
