According to glass door you should be making $77k on average with your employer. Based on the job description I know at least one large competitor offers close to double what you are making now for that type of position.

Something I’ve found with GB is we are severely underpaid commensurate to our experience. It’s too bad, I love the company.

Depends on where you live and what your company considers a Client executive.

Seems low though.

Yes, by a lot.

This is about what small group client managers make before bonus at Trustmark.

Unquestionably

Yes

Absolutely!!!

What exactly is a Client Executive? There's so many names for the same type of position that it's hard to compare. Actually I'm looking to compare my position to yours to feel out my salary.

It’s basically an account manager

Absolutely

Yes, but not atypical for your employer.

Yes! Significantly!

Yes - that sounds like a starting salary

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Should I try to negotiate a raise or look for other opportunities?

If I should negotiate, any tips?

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

P&C focused people: What do you do to find success cross-selling life policies? I mostly sell P&C off internet leads. Most are not the ideal client for my company but I take care of them like I would anyone else. I do okay but not great with life after having the client for six months once I move them into a preferred policy. That move saves them enough to make life doable coupled with established trust. I’ve been told just to quote the auto and life together initially but it feels “off” to me.
