Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

I come across postings like that all the time while searching for a new role. I usually apply anyway and see what happens. It does seem a bit unreasonable, though.

It’s actually been around for awhile. I think they are just looking for more experienced people. I mean people apply and if the pool is only 3 years of experience I’m sure they will hire from there.
Absolutely apply. It was not uncommon for me to see job ads asking for 10+ years experience in tech that had only been around for 5. If I match at least 60% of the requirements and am comfortable with being able to learn the rest, I apply.

I still apply if the core skills match. Many of these requirements are inflated by copy paste. I address it directly in interviews by reframing experience with adjacent tools and concepts.
