Please if you can help and advise?
I have just joined Amazon Retail as sr Program Manager a month ago. I miss banking/technology now. I have heard that I can move teams. I know it’s too early so I don’t know how to approach this situation and potential HMs. Reaching out to this community to seek help if you have similar roles for which you (or your network) is hiring, would you be able to help? It’s better to be in a relevant role and be best than performing poor in current role. Please help.

The very same thing happened to me with my 1st nursing job after graduation. The nurse trainer called in for about the first 3 weeks of my orientation because she had a beef with the manager. I stayed and got what I could from whoever the charge nurse assigned me to. It was rough, but I survived and stayed for about a year and a half. It was tough to get jobs then (24 years ago!) because nursing was saturated and demanded nurses with experience. I compare it to eating soup with a spoon, but I still got to eat!
HR is for the company not the employee . Sadly there's to much competition n hate saying this but clicks and favorites and SNAKES
Oh nothing new. I started a new job and was terminated because my receptor was never training me. And than when she came back I was reviving a patient. They have favoritism. So I did went higher regarding this neglect by DON N receptor. But they are a click. Pt. Made it.
That also happened to me and at 2 pm I walked down to HR and resigned due to a hostile environment.

Good for you for standing up for yourself.
I am in a similar situation. I retired from a job in x ray that did not keep up with technology and did not use an emr system ( I worked for the state of New York), therefore my computer skills are very poor. I started a new job almost two months ago. One tech will not speak to me. In the light room where we sit to check the computers for orders for patients, she sits with her back to me and won’t speak. We could sit for hours if it’s a slow day. I am 60 years old and these techs could all be my children. I’ve been a tech for 40 years. I know my three daughters would not treat anyone like that but especially not an older person who is struggling with technology but has clinical skills. It’s so obvious that a student said something to me about how uncomfortable she is making me and how she experienced the same thing
Sadly I have 30 yrs. But we are behind in the new systems. They judge as for being old .
Report to HR on the work environment, to bring change and purpose to the environment , for fu employees
Unfortunately, HR doesn’t do anything doesn’t matter how many times you complain they always seem to turn a blind eye to stuff.. I’ve been laid off since January and I’m really thinking that the reason I don’t get hired it’s because I’m in my 50s and I have 30 years of medical experience. You think that would count for something, but I guess it doesn’t. The things that I read to be treated the way people treat other people, it’s unfortunate that these young people now and days they have no respect for the elderly people in the medical field. Pretty sad.
Once you said "I saw a TikTok" all credibility was called into question. That is not the norm but could be somebody just creating click-bait. There is usually a nurse manager there so...I wouldnt believe what I see on TikTok.
It does happen a lot more than you think.
I can completely understand her frustration and why she did what she did. I just hope if she was working in a hospital or long term care that she made sure her patients were safe and reported off to someone with the appropriate title. In Kansas, if you leave after accepting the assignment without coverage, you can lose your license for abandonment.
I saw the same video on TikTok and I think she handled it the right way.

I agree. Seems like she has integrity.
not a good place to work if they lack support!! Find other job/s that you like and enjoy! where you can thrive!
Been around and no one is there to help. It's all about WHAT IS BEST FOR ME. You have to prove yourself. But they intimidated with your knowledge though were behind with fast technology
I dont know where this took place but you cant just leave thats patient abandonment and can cost you your license .

Don’t give up! I’m a 70 year old RN and I just finally got a permanent part time day shift position in addiction recovery after SIX and a 1/2 months. I dogged HR because they kept not following through…My faith sustained me. I pray you find a good job soon.
I have too stand up for yourself no matter I would called corporate hope they do that with the patient 🤔??
I would leave.
Did what she did...left
