I do feel bad when people can’t afford our subscription any more even though they love it. However, I wish they would stop getting mad at me over it. It’s not my fault!

Yeah like bro you think I can afford the subscription myself? It's too expensive for me too lol

Yaaaaa, this! Our food delivery service is super expensive and even with the employee discounts, I can't get close to affording it.

It is very sad when it is time to assist these people but we have to stand firm and sometimes accept that they have no one else to take their anger out on.

yeah, always a bit weird when people call asking me about the prices and sudden changes. you think I have any kind of say over that?

not sure why people expect customer service to somehow have a direct line to the people in charge of those kinds of decisions

I think sometimes people get the wrong idea of what's within our power as the customer service department but I've been doing this job for so long that at this point I just deal with this as if it was nothing out of the ordinary

I get the impression a lot of the time that people just like venting. Sometimes they don't even call asking for anything it's literally just complaning and looking for sympathy. I just do my little spiel about how I'm sorry they're dissapointed with our product

why even feel bad? it's not like you're the one setting the prices. They should be the ones feeling bad for calling and pestering about stuff neither of us have no control over

People seem to think I can just hand out the product as I'd like. I wish I could, but I have rules to follow. I feel bad for them, too. Well, at least until they get mad at me.

I see two crowds these days. One thinks housing market will crash. The other thinks housing market will soar.

The contrarian in me makes me think this is a decent indication that housing market will stagnate (or increase minimally) for a few years.

As a general rules, I feel like the majority cannot foresee a crash/surge coming. The prevalence of such expectations would hamper the pre-conditions necessary for such a dramatic change.
