There are few things that are to be considered
1) Bill should have proper breakup of the charges.
2) Room rent + Nursing charges should not exceed 1% of the policy value ....if exceeded they will deduct on overall bill prorated basis
3) Every bill, reports and prescription should be properly attested by hospital/ radiologist/pathologist/doctor etc
Insurance covers maternity amount for full 9 months with 65k limit (csec) and 50k for normal delivery.
If you have used the amount during pregnancy and then they give the leftover money in final Bill.
There should be some wrong in the bills or proofs submitted. Mediassist will not do much deductions for corporate claims. Please reachout to HR or spoc for mediassist from CG , they will definitely help you since it is a maternity case , things should be straight forward
