Too early
As a counterpart to MD1's comment, I think the ROI gets worse the longer you wait from this point on.
Depends on what you're trying to get out of it though
I want to stay in consulting a few more years for the experience but feel when I do jump to industry, having the MBA could drastically help get a foot in the door for interviews. That said I want to avoid taking 1-2 years off to finish an accelerated or full time program
Awesome. Thank you!
Why part time and why an MBA now?
I have nearly 4 years experience (experienced hire from another big 4). Part time because I can’t afford to take 2 years off, MBA now for future exit ops. Thinking 2-3 years to finish right when I’ll be hoping to leave D.

What are those future exit opportunities? And why can’t you make that jump now? Some future exit opportunities predominantly recruit from FT programs. As a side note, not many people can “afford” to take two years off, but they get some scholarships or loans. If your answer was, I want to stay in something close to consulting but need it to move up, PT makes more sense.
An MBA will open the doors, but if you are going to stay a few years then there will be doors either way. The business case for going to school and staying with the same firm isn’t as strong, but might be if you get some money. I would look at the industry jobs you want to jump into and see if they want an MBA. Chances are they don’t, or value consulting experience as a proxy.
