Ive understood one thing..... The more calm a person is at work , he likely has a chaos unfolding in him. Is that true...... Coz sometimes even i feel like that..

I look at outcomes. If I made a meaningful decision or moved something forward, I count it as productive even if it looked quiet.

I feel the busy days are the ones I'm jumping from task to task, but I agree, these aren't the days I do my most meaningful work, just the ones where I tick off loads of tasks.
Being busy isn't always productive. Like you said, some of my most productive days don't move the needle much but I get a lot of smaller tasks done and a lot of good thinking and writing.
You need both usually to move work along. If I can fit it in with whatever the bigger picture looks like, then I’m doing just fine.

I feel like it’s a mix for me. I justify non busy day with completing a task here and there and get my mind right for the peaks at work.
