Interviewing for an Enterprise AE role at Boomi. I am hoping to get some thoughts on how they are looking against the competition. As well as any other thoughts on working there.
Finding a new gig - does it really take one month for every year of experience? (In your experience. Hoping this doesn't take another 12 months... 3 down.)
I’m interested in New York agencies, but I’m turning 30, interested in starting a family. Are there any agencies doing good work but won’t consume your life?
Does your company offer any sort of monthly reimbursements (phone reimbursement, Internet reimbursement, electricity reimbursement)?
My previous company offered $50 for phone and $25 for Internet as monthly non taxable reimbursements (added through payroll and receipts were not required). My current company is reimbursing up to $30 for electricity each month upon receipt and is thinking of adding it to payroll as a recurring taxable reimbursement.
I’m no tax expert: what is the right approach?
Unemployment question: Does anyone know if unemployment benefits pick up again right after working freelance (1 week)? I’m so bored and want nothing more than to work but don’t want to screw up any...
My agency is asking us to come in on Monday. I have someone in my family who is at high risk for COVID19. What should i do? After recent layoffs, I feel like I have to go in.

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?
W+K please make your McDonalds spots like this.
Hey strategist, you bring bias to your research, and that’s ok, but you have to admit it and account for it. Lose the ego, for all our sakes.
Folks, I just got promoted and joined this group. How should I approach selling consulting services? I am delivering services and not had much success farming given the client environment. How can I start hunting? Any steps or tried-out resources I can leverage? Help out a fella trying to do his job better 🙏

If a candidate went through the first offenders program and the charges were discharged without court adjudication of guilty and exonerated, will said charges show up in an employer fingerprinting background check?
Is the media really asking why there’s a spike in anti Asian hate with their reporting all year? I understand not everyone here is Chinese, but the average American won’t know or care if you’re Chinese as long as you look Asian.
I’ve got my 7, 66, CFP, and CIMA with roughly 3.5 years industry experience. I started a new role at the paraplanner level… is this a bit of an undersell? Or is that along the industry timeline?
I joined a new agency and am managing a strategist who is eyeing my title and will at some point be promoted (my team is enormous so I’m not worried about losing my job.) I see this person as a collaborator, not like a mentee, but they are my direct report. This is my second day and they’re already assigning me projects, offloading work they don’t want to do. I don’t want to set up a relationship where they decide how projects will be handled. How can I be helpful, but still hold my ground?
What are Senior Digital Designers in London with 6+ years of experience expect to be paid these days?
Hi everyone, it's great to be along like minded people. I'm starting to feel like the business world is not for me. I enjoy nature, I enjoy animals, I enjoy doing stuff with my hands but at the same time I'm really passionate about technology and business. Lately, I've been feeling that I don't belong here and I want to completely leave corporate. I'm 25 with about 100k(30% in S&p500), living in Greece. No liabilities, no bought house. Is anyone feeling the same? Running away from toxic corp?
For those of you who have both worked in public accounting and industry, which did you prefer and what are/were the pros and cons of each? Did anyone go to industry and then return to public accounting after learning the grass wasn't greener?
Hi All, currently Visa is approved, stamping is yet to be done... But the package is 60k only and I heard from colleagues who are already there, that this is not sufficient... I am working at a package of 12 LPA in India, and I think switching is the best option rather than going to US. Need your opinion please
From and live in Florida and work at an Am Law 100 firm. Curious for litigators — outside of Am Law 100 firms and a handful of boutiques (e.g., Kobre & Kim), is there anything non-personal injury, non-ID, that pays mid-levels (or higher) in the $200ks? Often browsing LinkedIn, etc. to see what’s out there — seems like most of the other Florida firms and many in-house positions pay well south of $200,000. Just curious what to expect if one leaves biglaw litigation w/o amazing academic creds.
New to Capgemini. Finding difficulties on Shift timings. Almost two months.. Is there any possible way to change project? To whom I need to contact. Kindly reply
Been 2nd chair on 3yo case going to trial in 5mos. Got an offer I want to accept. Clients are lawyers and don’t want to burn bridges. Do I reject and stay on the case or do what’s best for me?
New CD here. When teams present you ideas how often do you feed them completely new ideas? Not 30-50% tweaks on what they already have but complete new ones. A lot of times I have the nagging feeling of wishing the ideas they presented were better. Are there time you jump in to help solve it for them, and how often? I’m trying to find the right balance.
Asked my boss for a raise yesterday. Boss called me today and told me they’re giving me more than I asked for and then some. Grateful to have a boss that values your worth and advocates for you 🥺
My husband and I have used Scott’s Cheap Flights for all of our travels. It’s allowed us to see the world when we may not have been able to afford it. Highly recommend it- even the free version is fabulous
Do you think pharmacists are paid enough? Please explain the area you work in (e.g., retail, hospital, etc.) and your thoughts if you don’t mind.
Has anyone taken one of those online executive courses, like the Harvard Extension School offers? Looking to use my $5k of tuition reimbursement and already have an MBA. Worth it? Best programs?
