CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

Tips on looking for a remote position in the communications, Public relations, or marketing field? Everything I find seems to be a scam, way underpaid, or a 100% commission based role.

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.
