Loll yeah. “The only people who will remember the nights and weekends you worked are your family” Hits me so hard sometimes it physically hurts
Yeah, and your family are probably the only ones who will even realize you’re working so much.
what a lame flex, i feel for that person
Same… I kept encouraging her to take her days off and she counter understand why?? She took a half day off for her birthday and I’m like… girl. Take the whole day off. lol
They’ll still lay them off in a heartbeat.
Vacation is part of the compensation package. Not taking it is effectively diminishing your own value by working for less.
Might as well request a pay cut, too.
Everyone is built a little differently. Truth is over-delivering has rewards as well.
U suck
Also when you come in sick, you just force other people to either work sick or take off… diminishing the productivity of the whole office
Should’ve excitedly asked if she’s also taking a pay cut “for the good of company.”
Menty b incoming 😳
🤣🤣
Spent way too much time working, not taking any of the "unlimited time off" because I thought it was so important to get the work done. Just one more thing, always just one more thing while others were taking time off and who covered their desk while they were out. Then when the layoffs came, who was laid off first? you got it. Wasn't so indispensable after all. Take the time off! Unlimited time off is another way not to pay vacation time.
Unlimited PTO is also the newest loophole for companies to not have to pay out unused accrued vacation time when resigning or being laid off.
Does this person work in advertising? I just feel like people in our industry don’t judge based on how much PTO you use.
Take it from an old head when the ride ends at 46 and you’re saddled w family expenses and Disneyland hokidays and your carreer bleeds off you’re gonna wish you took of advantage of 400$ red eyes to Shanghai or slept on that park bench in Berlin. Plus, unless you’re in California or a state that pays you out for vacations missed- yeah you’re just a chump.
