I was hired by vendor X as a contract SDE for client Y. Now I got a FTE offer from Y but don’t have NOC from X. X knows about it and says I broke policy, so they’ll give NOC effective Jan’25 even though my LWD is Nov’24. They also warned of negative BGV feedback. What’s the risk if I join Y without NOC and what can I do to still join Y?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit).
