I was laid off on 4th Feb. Recently, I cleared the Optum interview and mentioned an expected salary of 40 LPA, as I was in urgent need of a job.
I have a face-to-face round scheduled on Monday and wanted to understand:
How long does Optum typically take to release the offer letter after the final round?
What can I expect in the face-to-face round?
Is there still scope for salary negotiation at this stage?
For context:
Last CTC: 34 LPA + 1 L bonus
Years of Experience: 10
Role: Senior Data Enginee

Hi all 🙂👋🏻 Apologies for such a late post. I have an offer of 18 CTC(1L joining bonus) from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & 12.5 fixed from IBM .
My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? Also, since it’s technically a long term gain, do I have to pay an state and local on the income? Been reading for a bit and I can’t seem to find a clear answer. Thanks fishies!
