I was let go on 5/30/2024 and haven't been able to land a new job yet. My 60 days grace ends on 7/29/2024. Planning to change the status to B2. Has anyone done this before and is 10 days prior to last day of grace period ok?

Another question is what helped you get a new job? This market is brutal and not even getting to the interviews due to Visa sponsorship requirements.
