Absolutely—going back would need more than just pay. Support, schedule, and work-life balance are huge game changers.
I’ve thought about that a lot. It really depends on how much grace you give yourself when you’re trying to balance home and work. If the old job gave you satisfaction and peace and decent respect for your home life and your current one stresses you out even when you’re off… I just dove into something new rather than looking back because my pride and finances were in the way.
I've never seriously considered going back to a former employer. It's not that I had horrible experiences, I just think it's better to put things behind me. If someone from a former employer contacted me and offered me a lot more money I'd consider it, I suppose, but I don't see that happening.

I think you have a good point. Put the pass behind you and look forward. Unless they’re gonna give you a couple more zeros on your paycheck, of course
I would go back to my old marketing job if they matched my current salary. It was a good company, I just didn't like the world and decided to make a career change. I regret it, sometimes.

I don’t know that I find I have a old job that I regret leaving. But it’s good that you have something that you can go back to if they pay you more.

I would go back, but they’d have to get rid of the manager that’s there. They’re the reason I left. It was unbearable. A year later and the entire team I worked with there is gone. That’s says a lot about their leadership 👀. Other than that, the environment was good, pay was great for the work and I built a good team. It was a shame I had to leave, I’d go back for sure without that person there

Honestly, I think the same thing too. My old manager was terrible. And most of the old team is gone. And they would have to pay a much more money
