Money is what we all are working for. But one more thing to check is wlb and company culture as well. I remember my cousin joining a company just for a higher package but now ends up working on weekends as well.
At the end, money is important.
If the current company is not matching the offer in hand then yes. Also there is a possibility that you might bag a higher offer from other company as well.
Happy shopping 🛒🛒
I would consider the below in importance of order specified:
1)Job security
2)WLB /effect on health and family.
3)Money
4)Self market value prospects in short and long term .
Compare these points for the new and current conpany and then take a wise decision.Best wishes!
It depends. If you are working for the salary then go for the one that pays you more (Most of the working class belong to this category). If you have a strange attachment to a company (which you should not have) - or if you have additional benefits staying in this company, like location, proximity etc, even then bargain with them to match the counter offer and then look to stay with them
Money my friend. Money.
Of course it's a good thing. But you have to consider the option for a better opportunity. Don't jump blindly for money. Rest assured you can jump as much as you want at the beginning of your career life to increase the package.
Some is always better than other ,but the point where we settle down cant only be decided by money , money is one of the factor and a primary one which I agree but secondary ones are also important .
Some secondary ones are
1.Boss /leader
2.Financially stable org
3.A org with strong HR function that stands for what is right .
4.A place with empathy and people centric- culture
5.Whether work place is inside your city and ecosystem or is it required relocation.
6. There would be many other perks other than salary .
