I'm an MBA at a different Macy's. Definitely tell on this person. You can open a case with HR and they will investigate. I've had colleagues termed for this. Call the solutions in store number. You can go through insite and use AskHR. As someone else said, document everything. Dates, times, witnesses etc are all important.
I always say don't trust HR, and I still feel that you shouldn't trust HR, but you need to report this to them, and document EVERYTHING. Document any time the manager is inappropriate, any retaliation you face for reporting, and ALL coversations (written or spoken) with HR. Good luck.
I’m sorry for what you’re going through. Definitely speak up now or else you will regret it later. Report it to HR. I would probably say. I do not like anyone touching me. It triggers me. And it causes more anxiety to my trauma. It is inappropriate. Please let the manager know to stop. God bless you and good luck with everything. Also, you might have to go on Indeed and find a backup up job. Honestly! It’s creepy for people to be doing this at work. A lot of people have ptsd and trauma from those dark things they experienced as a kid and managers like this are making people’s lives really miserable and more traumatic. Please pray everyday for protection and for the Lord to bring you peace love and wisdom.
Since you named the store & location why not the creeps name?
If you can tell people here of your dislike why are you or anyone not able to at first instance speak up for yourself besides the fear of the consequences?
You are paid to do your job not work as this group isn't for exotic dancers, be groped. I've seen supervisors being touched on the arm just to incite them , everyone takes in larger companies esp. mandatory harassment courses. It's an insidious noxious weed ...if you witnessed a coworker that wasn't able to stand up for their self being touched before you, would you say something or report it on someone else's behalf? I'm only saying this for everyone to step up when witnessing unethical illegal behaviour in the workplace and not turn the other cheek or accept money to harass a coworker. All repeated acts we witness are not accidental. There is in this day and she a reason for what you are experiencing, as we all are and all should stand up and not tolerate.
