$230k base salary, plus 3-5% on attorney fees. I made $350k total last year. Firm size is like 6-7 attorneys and we are in a HCOL area.
That sounds like a great gig, honestly. I’m Class of ‘19 in a HCOL. I was making 150k base as a 3rd year at a similar-size L&E firm that did both P & D. Loved Plaintiff’s work, but switched to defense b/c the pay was (supposedly) better. Currently looking at 235k base at a Big 4 firm & your 3-5% on fees beats my billable bonus. If I could make that doing Plaintiff’s work & not stressing over billables, I’d take it in a heartbeat. What’s it like living the dream? 😂
