If you could make one change to create a more fun and engaging environment at work, what would it be? Whether it’s adding new activities, changing the office layout, or introducing new traditions, what do you think would make working more enjoyable?

Hmm now this is a hard one to think about. I think if I could make one change in the office it would be offering free lunch every day. Everyone is mad about having to RTO and I feel like a nice lunch every day might soften the blow. Although ultimately I would let everyone work fully remote if that was a change I could make.

For having free lunch, it usually comes with a later night... I'd avoid personally, but it makes me a lot more productive

More availability for feedback, especially upwards feedback. When you get people talking more it is so much easier to have real conversations and bring everyone in on them. Would open up different sides and ultimately make the business run better. Just a matter of figuring out how to implement it.

True! I feel like that's a needle and a haystack to get useful feedback too

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

Hi! Anyone Hinge Health willing to provide a referral? Looking to apply to Program Manager roles.

Thank you!

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?
