If you won the lottery, would you still work your health care job? I think I would still work but at least it’s good knowing there’s no real pressure to overexert yourself

Absolutely not. I would spend my time traveling, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, pursuing my hobbies, and engaging in my passions. I would never work again if I could avoid it.

like

If I were to work, it would be for myself. Not for anyone else. I would be able to help people in other ways based on the resources I have acquired.

like

No, I would volunteer but not work in healthcare due to corporations . Perhaps a free clinic

like

No, if I won the lottery my job would never see me again. I could understand if a nurse or doctor felt a passion for their work and concern for their patients and wanted to keep working. I'm more or less a cog in the machine, and don't have a passion for my work, so I would move along and enjoy life.

like

Possibly one day a week. Just to keep myself from boredom

I would stay on at least part-time. I work in mental health and I have clients that have had huge trauma (think: being pimped out by my parents) who have come to trust me and are working on big changes a little step at a time. It would take time to transition these people to someone new.

Not at all.

Work? Hahaha 😆😂😆😂😆😂😆😂

i would defintely work , because for me its more about learning but I am weird that way ;(

NO WAY. When people say they would still work, it makes me think they have no real concept of money. If you had money like that you could keep yourself busy doing anything. The world is a big place. There’s a lot to see and do. Now imagine you have the funds to do it. Would you really keep working?

How does this Amazon offer look for an L5 non-tech PM role in Seattle? I’m coming in with 2 YOE as a startup PM. No MBA.

$130K base, 20 RSUs, $45K sign on over 2 years ($25/20). 1st year TC $160K.

It was extended before the recent announcement that TCs are going up but I don’t know if I’d be impacted regardless.

I have been designing professionally now for just over 15 years now. I work very quickly and very well with other team members. I also take on freelance work. I’m married with 2 kids so the more work the better.

What according to your experience during interviews has been one thing that you said or did made you get the job over 1000s of other applicants for a job, according to you? What is that one thing that made a difference and set you apart?

Just asking to learn from experiences.
