If you’re booked out for 1-2 months in advance, what’s the best way to keep your availability somewhat open in case the other team on it ends up selling something instead of you, and then you get your contract cut a bit earlier. I’ve had others reach out and told them I was booked until X month. But now I feel like it looks like I got canned if I reach out before that time to say I’m actually available sooner. Or do sourcing managers not think twice about that?
