Has anyone set up an NY 529 for their kids? Know there’s a 10k tax exemption for NY state taxes, but does anyone know if that per child, or across all children?

Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day. If you are still working as a lawyer full time and growing a human it is something to be proud of!

If you have an offer for a new position, would you wait to tell them you are pregnant (and due in May) until after you accept, so you don’t jeopardize the offer? If so, how long would you wait?
