I'm 8 years experienced in IT and 5+ years experienced in RPA - Automation Anywhere. Working as tech lead in Accenture. I couldn't see any substantial growth in Accenture since 3 years even though I got mailbox full of appreciations and rewards. Hence I 'm looking out for opportunities outside Accenture. I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Rpa technology, I know the work is support work in LTI and position is senior developer and in product elecronics company its a very small firm in india however it's subsidiaries are all over the world. And I would be working with them via this and the position offering is lead.
