I'm a medical coder and the question I'm wondering is do other work places keep changing your workflow on a daily basis? Today we got an email about mods we were missing, but a few of them we never even used before and we were asking for examples. Another is Z codes we constantly are told don't put Z codes primary diagnosis dx codes then a week goes by and we are told they can be primary. Right now we are in the phrase of they can't be primary, even though medical guidelines say they can be.
