Do what makes you happy fam

This.
You shouldn't care what random people on a forum think, or just random people in general. Life is too short not to be happy with someone you have a connection with.
No … half his age + 7 is the rule of thumb on max age difference that’s socially acceptable. So assuming you’re 34 and he’s 52, you could actually be one year younger with a 19 year age gap. Either way, if he makes you happy go for it :)
(30/2)+7…..the math works out! Op is free to date the 25 year old!

For me, yes. Do you want kids, and does a 53+ yr old want to deal with babies? When the kid is 5-6 yrs old, he’d be ~60.
He would retire about 18 years prior to you. How would that make you feel? These are things people have to think through, my friend is married to someone older and it was great in the beginning, but the age gap, energy and interests is more apparent now that he’s 65.
Me personally I would be more compatible with someone around my age, or younger.

Perfectly standard.
Men have lower life expectancy. Doesn't that mean you'll be a widow for 20+ years of your life? In fact, you might be spending more time apart than together.

You mean senior as in your manager right? Right?
Yeah like senior citizen

To your senior? Is this someone you're dating or someone you're working with?
No
I think that’s too big of an age gap. But know plenty of women who date with those age gaps - but they don’t marry the guys.
On the other hand you have trumps press secretary whose husband is like 30 years older than her? So idk
I think that’s illegal. He’s 12 years old!
Who cares

You’re dating a 17 year old?
Probably needs answers.
If you’re asking about long-term or marriage, there are issues, as mentioned by others, but only you can answer, and probably only by trying for a while.
If you’re talking about living in the moment, enjoying a life experience, absolutely go for it. Connection has so many drivers, age not a main one.
What?
If you want kids, yes. If you want to be a widow at 65-70 and live the rest of your life spending all his money, no.
