Got to know one my law firm boss’s friend (also an attorney in his early 40s but in a different practice) who is a lot friendly to me? He asks me out to lunch and texts me personally. I get we are all adults here and it’s an off leash ball park, but it also feels weird.

I get it, shit doesn't always run smoothly, but every live deal I've been on hasn't panned out at the last possible minute. I am tired. Just venting.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

I had quite the day the other day. Coustmer comes in and then ends up leaving with a grossed out look on his face just for him to put in a complaint about my appearance...he down right called me some nasty things for no reason.
