There are so many ifs and buts check and don’t be mean on 3 days

Well you are supposed to
I’m working on those days, can someone tell me if I am entitled to overtime ?

If you are salaried, you should be getting paid for those day. I know we do and we are off for the whole week.

Yes, if you are salaried, you should get paid for holidays and days you don't work.

Salaried employee are entitled to full pay for pay period during holiday season , wether or not they choose to engage the employee in active responsibilities or not.

If it's work no pay policy and it is not a holiday then I don't think you will be paid. Check it with your manager or HR. You can also take a look at your company policy.

Hello! As a salaried employee, you are entitled to get paid on those days. Have you checked on your policy?

Yes you will get paid as you are salaried.

Many organizations “shut down” for the week of Christmas and have employees use vacation days. As far as I know, this is legal in Ontario. You may also have the alternative of taking the days as unpaid.

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.
