Network, network. Create your « story » and have a good pitch about yourself for tell me about yourself question. Look at each firm and their core values and consulting skills and leverage that in your answers to their behavioral questions. Also practice case studies - know all of the consulting frameworks!

Lots of consulting in the DMV and also NYC. I recommend applying asap and make sure you bring lots of energy to your interviews

The DMV is also cheaper, has the same opportunities (Deloitte and Booz Allen are both HQed there) keep COL in mind when looking for internships.

network fs— also for your internship consider choosing an office location that’s closer to your school so that you’ll have more alum connections. you can always office transfer for your full time once you have your foot in the door
