In my experience, a lot of these coaches are hacks. Best to take the time to figure out what you want to do and then network for those opportunities. But up to you if want to waste your money on such coaches. Maybe go to a therapist instead.
I think getting a coach is silly. Like the other commenter said, sit down with yourself and only you can figure out where you want to go next. You don’t need someone else telling you that.
As an attorney with ADHD who has big plans but struggles to put said big plans into action, I can see the benefit of a coach. FWIW, I’ve been getting ads for strawberry.me, and it seems to have good reviews. So - maybe start with a less expensive career coach and go from there.
Been thinking about the same thing and the Law Exit bowl isn't very active. If you've used a career coach, do you think working with a recruiter to find a better role is preferable?

I liked Jennifer Greiner. I found her helpful in figuring out what my next role should be.
I also had unhelpful coaching experiences with members of Greiner Consulting.
If you are paying (and not the firm), I would skip hiring a coach.
Jessie brown is an amazing coach. She helps you dig deep and figure out what might bring you more fulfillment. I went in house and am much happier for it
