Im currently a few months in at a top tier agency, and recently got a job opportunity at a FAANG company with ~50% raise (does mandate an nyc to la move).

As a creative in the industry, im curious what the pros/cons are of leaving agency side are, especially if going brand side is the goal long-term? And if clocking in more time at the new gig is worth it in the long run? (Director level)

What’s your take on a job listing that states “From $xx,xxx”

The particular job I’m looking at has this on the listing and I’m curious as to what their budget actually is. Do I assume a range?

They’re seeking someone with 5-8 years experience. I have the latter (8 almost 9)

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals.
