Meta Certifications are definitely a plus and can help show your commitment to learning, but I think it’s also about highlighting transferable skills. Maybe start by leveraging your social media buying experience and look for hybrid roles to ease in!
Certifications could help to bridge the gap. Getting some hands-on experience too would be helpful. Maybe also consider volunteering or freelance for a project that could help add that digital experience. Think about the skills and numbers you had before and how those can be transferable for this.
Meta Certifications are valuable! Also, focus on skills like analyzing consumer behavior, managing budgets, and tracking ROI. Even without direct digital experience, highlighting your ability to learn quickly and adapt can make you a strong candidate for digital roles. Also being familiar with platforms like Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe, are also valuable!
Agreed! Certifications are great but at the end of the day the skills will be what matter.
