Im currently an MBA student who will be joining an MM PE firm for their summer internship. The firm said they are raising a new fund and will consider giving me a return offer based on my performance. I never worked in PE before. I did 2 years in T2 consulting (CDDs/value creation) then did corp dev for about 3 years where I was most recently a Manager. What tips do you guys have so I can hit the ground running and get that return offer? How should I prepare in the months before?

I am currently working as Branch Manager (scale-2 officer) in one of the leading public sector banks and have 5 yr experience in core banking. I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). I have knowledge of core banking as well as good knowledge of banking tools like finacle, caps, imac etc. I want to switch to private financial institutions.
Any suggestions about such institutions and the domain for I can apply

What exactly does a "Knowledge Attorney" do at firms that have them? My firm doesn't have such a thing, so I'm not sure if it's an opportunity worth pursuing or not. I'm definitely not interested if it's comparable to the Conflict Attorney role which is essentially dead end.

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups.
