I’m currently at Amgen in a data role, and the trade-off no longer feels worth it. While perks like free food are nice, my workdays stretch from 10 AM to 11:30 PM, leaving no work-life balance. Micromanagement is intense, and there’s a constant expectation to stay late. It feels normalized and even supported by USA leadership especially Indian origin . For those who’ve faced this, is it better to set boundaries or start looking elsewhere?
