I don’t know about bonus for passing the exam (I’m not from this generation), but from general observation, significant raises come from promotion, not from obtaining a license that is pretty much expected in your career.
It would be better for you to quit your job and finish your exams than to not finish or break for busy season
I agree quitting and focus on exams if burnout. I left ey and passed my last exam. Now open all my doors to all big fours. Received offers from better service lines, higher pay and more opportunities.
Bonus for passing early. However, things get harder when you get more responsibility. Get it done as soon as you can.
thats an interesting scenario to be in but a good situation since you’re on the right trajectory. personally if i were you, i’d either shelve it or study lightly during busy season and then go after your next exam once busy season is officially over but thats just me
You don’t usually see an immediate pay jump. Normally, firms do offer a bonus for passing though.
Matter s little but to be a manager I think some firms require u to have CPA or EA and many people i knew struggled to get it at the same time as they worked and their exams expired on them
