I’m in a situation where I either need to report two partners I often work with or else I’d just leave the firm. Only about 30% of my time is with them but it’s too much. I need feedback on raising concerns regarding difficult partners. They have an established reputation for what id report so it’s no surprise but also they won’t change. I’m worried I’ll create an even worse environment for myself. I like those I work with the other 70% of the time. Thoughts and input?

You need to leave as well as report. If you report you will be blackballed by the firm and lose your job regardless of how accurate and truthful you are.

If the firm already knows and these partners bring in a bunch of $$, this is, unfortunately, a you problem.

I would hold them accountable! Looking the other way is not in anyone's best interest. just saying.

Honestly, we’ve all been down this road. There’s nothing you can do except try to fill your plate with partners you like working with. If you can’t avoid these partners then you need to deal with it or lateral.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?

Does anyone know how litigation finance works on the plaintiff side? If someone wanted to bring a lawsuit against their former employer would a general contingency arrangement with a plaintiff’s firm make sense? I was one of the big firm stealth layoffs in covid and joined a boutique firm in Sept. They came sort of close to matching my salary but I moved to SoCal and have an opportunity to jump back in to big law and get $100k raise. The people at the small firm are so nice, but hours are nuts and if I’m going to work this much, I might as well get paid more, right? Is it too soon? How do you tell them when the managing partner took you under his wing?
