Also some banks have visa gift cards at no extra fee around the holidays too. Or sometimes corporate credit cards can use points to get gift cards.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done any bulk gift cards, but I do remember the big bulk stores having some good deals, usually around the holidays. You can get 50$ for 45$ and things like that, which really adds up! I’d crunch the numbers, because it very well could pay for that membership alone.

Snappy gifts - you choose a $$ amount and the recipient is able to choose their gift from a selection

Have you considered checking online marketplaces or gift card websites? They often have deals and promotions on popular gift cards. You might find some great savings without needing a membership.

My company uses Tango. You give a virtual Tango gift card that they can redeem for a variety of well known retailers gift cards, like Amazon and Target to Nordstroms and Dicks Sporting as well as restaurants and such. Best part is that you don’t have to redeem right away, so you can accrue a balance and get more than the standard $5-20 thank you gc for a bigger purchase.

I have a costco membership because of other reasons but I typically see sometimes they are like $100 for $80 on certain things or buy one get two etc.

I’m a new analyst at an IB group. I’ve felt that I’ve done well my first month or two and delivered higher quality work, but I feel that lately I’ve been slipping up the past few weeks given the intensity of the deal as well as having multiple peripheral work streams. It also doesn’t help the second year analyst quit so I don’t necessarily have a resource to lean into. (Cont.)

We never know our capabilities until we are tested and challenged. This is when we realize we can do it and we can get through it 🫶🏻! IA you got this 🫶🏻!

Hi everyone,
So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?

Happy Wednesday everyone. I'm so excited, I have a recruiter call scheduled with @Meta for Administrative Partner position. I've been in my current employer role for 19 years and I'm nervous as heck. I haven't had to do an interview in so long. Can someone please tell me what to expect with the recruiter call? I'm assuming it will be mostly about the role, my skills and background? Do they ask salary expectations? I have no idea what to say for the salary question. Feedback appreciated. Thanks
