If you know R in depth then just start coding in python. For most analytics stuff it’s just a change of syntax.

Pick up a project and start clicking on those stackoverflow search results.. no bootcamp or online class that beats it

like

In your case probably how do you do something in r/sql in python? Eg how to do group by in python’s pandas package

It’s more important to find your workflow. It’s different for everyone...and for the most part a bit different from my R workflow.

Medium and stack overflow tend to be the best at that...at least from my experience

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. Is there anything I should think about getting experience in? How should I go about making sure I am seeing enough things?

Long story short - was lured into an opportunity to do BD for a large PE PortCo… better work/life balance, but honestly miss the deal cycle.

Anyone know of open VP1 opps right now?

Quick background - former MM banker (think Raymond James, Piper Sandler size) doing FinTech and Asset Management within FIG, but also open to other sectors.

Thanks!

Hi guys, I joined care ratings about 5 months back. However I had been asked to move from Research to ratings due to high work load.
However now the company is asking me to move back to research. It has been 5 months and I have been trying to adapt to this company. I feel like quitting this job already. It is frustrating. Any recommendations??

Do we have professionals from Brisbane, or other Australian cities here?

I wanted to know what do you guys think I should ask for expected compensation - my profile is :

3 Years into InfoSec compliance around ISO27001; SSAE-18; CIS

1 Year into Identity and Access Management (PAM focussed)

Holding ISO27001LA, CompTIA Security+, AZ900.

In next 4 months I target to achieve AZ500, and CISSP.

Can someone please evaluate and tell me what can I ask in AUD ? Pre and Post CISSP

Thanks in Advance
