Popped a xanax before an interview, what a mistake that was. Sometimes, anxiety is good.

How long does it take to hear back about an offer? They basically told me they want me to join the team about two weeks ago. Interviewed with five people and all went well. Emailed the recruiter yesterday and radio silence. Waiting is the worst. Did they change their mind or does it take a long time to get an offer approved and made?

Has anyone who interviewed R1 for Stern heard back yet? I’m seeing initial decisions we’re supposed to go out 12/1 but my application still says “we hope to release your decision shortly”

I like to apply for Product Manager roles at Amazon since I like the role. I have done front office CRM (SAP) implementations for Fortune50 clients through Accenture.
It is more of sitting with users to understand their process and map it to CRM suite and build additional features to map their specific processes.
I have also worked on sales, BD and functional spec creation for new features.
Can I count these as Product Management experience while applying for Amazon or other Faangmula?

About month ago I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease (CAD) and had to go through cardiac catheterization to get a stent.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

If you completely blow your interview and the recruiter schedules a call to connect, and you know this is a rejection, how do you prepare for that? I can be positive but I know how bad the interview went. It’s one of those where I’d like them to send an email and get it over with. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
