I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

I’m sorry. I understand the feeling. It’s incredible how every single week it is getting more and more stressful. I woke up in a panic about it last night
Got impacted in December for no apparent reason. Consistently top rated performer over the last several years and not very high in the comp range either. Job market has been extremely challenging. Raising kids and a mortgage keeps me up at night.
Unfortunately this is very real. You are not alone in feeling this way, however this is something you can’t control so no point overthinking. Continue to perform in the meantime and you are doing the right thing by applying for other jobs in parallel.
I have seen a pattern at least in my org where people were let go, those roles were not adding value. And low performers are being displaced first..if that helps
Market is tough right now but keep applying and if possible work multiple jobs if remote.
My suggestion would be to take therapy so that you learn some tactics to control this stress . I have been and still am in a similar situation with lots of repsonsibilities . I realized my stress was causing me to perform badly in interviews further aggravating the situation.
