I’m joining EY (EY India) as a Consultant – Band 5 and have received a 30% hike on my current CTC, which feels low for this role.

Could anyone share the typical compensation range for this band? Also, with just 15 days left before joining—and with background verification and other formalities already completed—if I present a counteroffer now, is there still a realistic chance they would consider revising the compensation?

Any quick insights would be really helpful.

Anyone who joined after March’22 who got the VPB letter?

Its weird that EY is calling themselves providing exceptional experiences, but keep sending Return to Office email on Friday and ruin our mood. What leadership is gonna achieve by sacrificing employee flexibilities and spoiling their happiness, it can ultimately lead to resignation and loss of great talents.

Is EY expecting people in offices? Is there any way to still hold WFH for some months ? Not rigid but want to spend some more time at home :) not asking much!
