I am Senior Data Engineer at LTI. I joined LTI six months back and have total YOE of 4.1 yrs. When should I start looking for next switch? And how much should I ask for?
Current CTC: 15LPA including 5% variable

MY NPS SIP deducts 30/- as convenience fees
I am 27 my NPS is for 33 years my convenience fees will be around 11k
What to do ?

I cleared Accenture interview and today got an email to upload documents on their portal. Also, got a call from HR and she asked about the salary expectations and other details. And few minutes later I found that my profile has been put on hold.

question is, they will negotiate with me or they have rejected my profile ?

Trying to explain billable hrs to hubs. I billed 160 this month, which he said “is only 40 hr weeks” (true) - but how many hrs do you figure you “work” or are in the office to bill 150?

Most of the time we have to explain every detail multiple times and they still don’t understand what we’re doing. I feel that the role should be reserved for employees with experience in the systems they work in.

I have accepted an offer for the role of Director of Data Science & Analytics and I'll be working with old colleagues. I am very excited. I haven't given notice yet because I am waiting for the background check to complete, but my boss just asked me about traveling to a meeting in November. I start at the new job Oct 25. Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. I have been doing this work for 7+ years now (total YOE 12 years) so certainly have the right skillset. I have tried a couple of referrals too but that didn’t help either. What can I be doing in my current entry level tech consulting job to make me a great candidate for promotions/raises or changing jobs in the next year or 2?

People who are happy that the office is dead should reconsider. If the office is dead wouldn't that mean more outsourcing and less TC forward? Isn't it short sighted to think jobs will stay in the US if they are remote considering how expensive it is to hire here?
