I’m only a couple weeks into the game. How long did it take for y’all to find iron nuggets to build the store? I feel like they are few and far between. Any tips appreciated!

At first the number of nuggets seems impossible. Like it will take several days. Use your miles at the ATM to go to mystery islands and it will make it go faster. Do not use nuggets to build tools at first. Live according to your means cause you can’t afford that kind of splurging. Pop a lot of balloons. The more you pop, the more likely you’ll get iron and clay. It took me 2.5 days all in all cause I wasn’t going to so many mystery islands and my playing time was light.

I use the method that the article describes. But I hit the rocks with a stone axe, when I use my shovel it tends to break the stone before I can get much out of it.
