I'm really hitting a wall with networking. My school's alumni network is pretty small, and I'm finding it super tough to make personal connections with people in my industry. I'm outgoing and have a great work ethic, but everyone just seems so cold, and I'm beginning to worry about not landing at a good firm after all the effort I've put in. What could I be doing wrong with my networking strategy?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…
