I'm severely Frustrated with the job market right now got my clinical certified medical assistant in 2023 I also have BLS and AED lifesaving skills and home health aide certified but can't seem to get a medical assistant job because I have no experience how can I gain experience if no one is willing to hire. I worked hard for what I got just for it to go to waste now my certifications are expiring soon and i don't feel paying the 200 dollars to renew them because they didn't get put to anything.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Competitor asked for my salary expectations to jump ship and I provided it to them. If I get a raise before they provide an offer, is it ok/proper to revise salary expectations higher?

I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. I tried working as a tech at an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic but it wasn’t a good fit. I’m hesitant to try case management or social work because I worry I won’t like it but I want to use my degree in Psychology. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.
