Additional Posts in Job Referrals UK 🇬🇧
I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/
Hi, I am a making a career change from graphic design to motion design or as a 3d artist. I finished my masters degree last October and have been looking for a job since then. Can anyone please refer me to entry level roles that are not asking entry levels to have 3-5 years experience if that even exists these days. Also below is a link to some of my work any feedback on the portfolio would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Market in the UK is really bad right now, most companies are only hiring for essential roles. I know someone who has been rejected on the basis of needing sponsorship as there were UK based applicants who were a good fit for the role. Do you have right to work in the UK? That could be a factor. There is plenty of available talent in the UK right now so firms less likely to sponsor.
Exactly this ^
Also, I have a master’s degree and am a remote doctoral student. Not sure if that means jack but it can’t hurt, right? 😩
You got rejected? Well at least you got a reply. Deloitte never got back to me when I applied for a role in the company
Lol it’s my exact position though. It’s the only option. I have no technical skills. It’s HR and human capital 😭
I am going to have to get my right to work, clearly. I have received bad info that if I’m already with Deloitte US, I could get in Deloitte UK if there is an opening and they would provide sponsorship.
This is definitely not wrong but not applicable to the current market. Given all the redundancies taking place (not within Deloitte but generally in a lot of industries such as Insurance/FS/Banking in the UK), it feels like every role function must be justified so sponsorships are very unlikely to happen given the current climate.
